I get the waste glass from friends - private households or restaurants. After the first selection, the labels are removed.
Then the bottle is "scribed, cut" at the desired height and shared with the Bunsen burner, which is sometimes perfect, but just as often imperfect.
This is followed by various grinding and polishing stages of the edges until they feel pleasant with regard to future use.
Depending on pleasure and imagination, stenciling and etching of various motifs or manual sanding of patterns sometimes follows.
At the very end, each piece receives a "K." with the engraver on his bottom.
And of course the last act: doing the washing-up ..
